Biography

Diana Carney
London
Diana Carney started her career as a management consultant at Monitor. She then worked for two decades in overseas development, focusing on policy to support sustainable livelihoods. During this time she worked for DFID, as a Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute and as an independent consultant to various charities, foundations and not-for-profits.
She started working with Canada 2020 in 2011 as coordinator of the federal government strategy project, The Canada We Want in 2020.
She holds a first class undergraduate degree from Oxford University (in Politics, Philosophy and Economics) as well as an MA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania (where she studied as a Thouron scholar) and an MSc. in Agricultural Economics from Oxford University.
Diana lives in London with her husband and four daughters. She also runs an environmental website.
